what do we do now?

I would assume that the details are being ironed out. The process is not as easy as some would assume as there is a ton of items to cover. That being said, there is also real life to attend to as family and work come into play.

They will get the word out as the plans finalize I am sure.

fair enough. but i do feel i can safely say i speak for no small number of people when i say that we've been rather anxious for things to get off the ground, and have been waiting more or less patiently. i cant help but feel that there's been a certain lack of communication/updates/give-a-hoot displayed thus far though.

i mean, are we really trying to do this? or was it just a lark?

Yeah I am excited too, (even though my play time will be very limited, if at all) just to have the opportunity to play again. With the other larps that are around *shiver* I will be more than happy to wait until the sun burns out for DC to come back! Playing in the dark is fun anyhow!

Seriously though keep the excitement there and the patience on hand. We will be playing again soon.

Hey guys sorry there haven't been many updates. Here is the word I was having a hard time finding an insurance provider that didn't want to charge me an arm and a leg.. long story short got that covered. so the contracts should be going back to bill this week.

*squeals in glee* I just found this site today and can't help but get giddy I had heard rumors about DC starting back up but didn't know if it was true. Now I do! That "other" game just isn't cutting it (ya'll know which one I mean).
If a site is still needed Camp Ellowi is allowing people to rent them out again. Also, Camp Carter is a decent place (they have nicely heated/cooled cabins) even if it is a little more expensive.

Can't wait to see the old gang of folks again.
